Setup and Preparation

Prepare device and yourself for accurate measurement.

  1. Install batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Connect AC adapter: Plug into DC jack and wall outlet (for continuous use).
  3. Apply cuff: Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow, align artery marker with brachial artery.
  4. Sit correctly: Sit on chair with back supported, feet flat on floor, arm supported at heart level.
  5. Rest: Remain still and quiet for 5 minutes before measurement.

CAUTION! Ensure cuff is not too tight or loose. Tube should run down center of arm.

Front Panel: START/STOP button, MEMORY button, USER button (User 1/User 2), SET button.

Taking Measurements

Follow proper procedure for accurate results.

  1. Prepare as described in Setup section.
  2. Press START/STOP button: Cuff inflates automatically.
  3. Remain still: Do not move or talk during measurement.
  4. Read results: Systolic, diastolic pressures and pulse rate display after deflation.
  5. Interpret symbols: Note hypertension or irregular heartbeat indicators if displayed.
  6. Power off: Device turns off automatically after 1 minute.

Tip: Take measurements at same time each day for consistent tracking. Avoid measurements when stressed or anxious.

Memory Function

Store and review past measurements.

  1. Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2 before measurement.
  2. Automatic storage: Readings save automatically after each measurement.
  3. Review memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings (most recent first).
  4. Clear memory: Hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds to clear all readings for current user.
  5. Memory full: "FULL" symbol appears when 60 readings stored; old readings overwritten.

Note: Each user has separate 60-reading memory. Date and time stored with each reading.

Care & Maintenance

Proper care ensures device longevity and accuracy.

  1. Clean cuff: Use mild soap and damp cloth; air dry completely.
  2. Clean unit: Wipe with soft, dry cloth; do not use solvents or abrasives.
  3. Store properly: Keep in storage case in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  4. Replace batteries: When low battery symbol appears, replace all 4 batteries.
  5. Cuff inspection: Check for cracks or leaks periodically; replace if damaged.

CAUTION! Do not immerse unit in water. Do not wash cuff in washing machine. Avoid extreme temperatures.
